Fifty-three cam sites in, and this is the first one where you can work out what an hour costs before you hand over an email address.
AWLive prints a per-minute rate on every tile in the grid, publishes a full credit price list in pounds sterling on an open payments page, discloses the service fee on top, and names the descriptor that will appear on your statement. Every one of those four things is missing from most of this reference. Having all four on one site means the arithmetic is finally possible, and the answer is roughly one pound fifty to three pounds fifty a minute.
AWLive Credit Prices: Full Package List in GBP, EUR, USD and AUD
The payments page offers a currency selector covering GBP, EUR, USD and AUD, and defaults to pounds. The credit packages read:

- 30 credits, £37.65 (£1.255 each)
- 50 credits, £58.00 (£1.16 each)
- 100 credits, £111.00 (£1.11 each)
- 200 credits, £200.00 (£1.00 each)
An Other Amount selector fills in the gaps at 20, 40, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 150. Buying two hundred at once costs 29 percent less per credit than buying ten, which is a steep enough curve to be worth planning around, and a shallow enough one that nobody is being pushed into a four-figure commitment.
Two disclosures sit under the buttons and both deserve credit. Purchases will appear as “AWS” on your statement. And: Payment includes £4.00 service fee.
The statement descriptor is the kind of detail that matters at exactly one moment, months later, when a line item nobody recognises appears on a card. Publishing it before purchase rather than burying it in a receipt is good practice, and only ePlay in this reference has done anything comparable.
The service fee needs a caveat, because the arithmetic does not fully resolve from outside. The fee notice appeared alongside the 10 credit option. If four pounds is a flat charge on every transaction regardless of size, then the real cost per credit runs £1.00, £1.12, £1.08, £1.07 and £0.98 across the five tiers, and the smallest purchase becomes better value per credit than the two tiers above it, which would be an odd way to price a product. If the fee is already folded into the four headline packages and shown separately only on the custom amount, the clean descending curve above is the true one. The honest position is that the headline totals are certain and the internal split is not, so budget from the totals.
How Much Does AWLive Cost Per Minute?
Every tile in the grid carries a number where other sites carry nothing. Across sixty live rooms on one page the rates ran from 1.50 to 2.50 credits per minute, with a mean of 1.69.
The distribution is heavily bunched at the bottom. Thirty-three of the sixty rooms, fifty-five percent, were priced at exactly 1.50, which is almost certainly the platform floor. Above that: seven rooms at 2.00, then a scatter through 1.60, 1.65, 1.67, 1.70, 1.75, 1.80, 1.88, 1.95 and 1.99, and five rooms priced above 2.00, topping out at 2.50.
Multiply through and the picture is concrete. At the floor rate of 1.50 credits a minute, a room costs between £1.50 and £2.10 a minute depending on how many credits you bought at once, which is £90 to £126 an hour. The most expensive room observed, at 2.50 credits a minute, runs £2.50 to £3.50 a minute, or £150 to £210 an hour.
Nowhere else in this reference can that sentence be written. Chaturbate and the token networks publish a rate in tokens and a token price on a separate page behind a login, and the two never quite meet. AmateurCommunity prints exact per-minute coin rates on every tile and then declines to say what a coin is worth. AWLive completes the loop.
The rooms themselves split the rate further. The one examined displayed Group 1.50 P/M and Private 1.82 P/M side by side, so a private session carried a 21 percent premium over the group rate in the same room, with both numbers visible on screen before either was started. The grid rate appears to be the group rate, so factor a premium in for anything one-to-one.
The room controls are laid out to match. A Tip Me button, the two per-minute rates, an Exit Session control and a Buy Credits link all sit in the same strip, so topping up does not mean leaving the room and losing your place. That is a small piece of design that works in the customer’s favour rather than against it, since the alternative is a session that ends mid-conversation when the balance runs out.
AWLive’s Filters and Categories
The left rail opens with seven gender options: Female, Trans Male, Trans Female, Couple MF, Couple MM, Couple FF and Male. No other site reviewed here separates trans masculine and trans feminine performers, and none breaks couples into three configurations. Most offer four categories and a Couples tab that mixes everything.
Below that sit Available For, splitting Group from Private, an Age band covering Teens 18+, Twenties, Milf and Mature, and then collapsed sections for Preferences, Categories, Nationality, Last Login, Ethnicity, Orientation, Body Type, and Tattoos and Piercings. Last Login as a filter is a quiet admission that a roster contains dormant profiles, and a useful one.
The header counters run alongside: Live 497, rising to 500 within seconds, with Lovense 122, Featured 11 and Chat Only 32. Just under a quarter of the live roster has an interactive toy connected, which is a real figure rather than a marketing one, and Chat Only being both a filter and a counter means the thirty-two rooms that are not going to undress are visible as such rather than discovered on entry.
Room States: Free Preview vs Group vs Private
Instead of the usual online and offline binary, tiles carry one of five states, and the wording is the site’s own: In Group, In Group Chat, In Free Preview, Chat Only, and, on a large share of the grid, I am waiting for you.
The distinction between In Group and In Free Preview is the one that saves money. A free preview is running and costs nothing to watch; a group session is running and is being paid for. Both are live, both look identical on a thumbnail, and on most platforms you find out which by entering. Here it is on the tile.
Two system messages appear on entering a room, and they do the same job the state labels do. The first sets the rule for the free tier: nudity is not permitted in Free Mode, only in Group and Private. The second is the platform’s off-site payment rule, requiring credits to be used for DirectCam, DirectIM, phone chat and content sales, and prohibiting arrangements to pay outside the platform for any of them.
That second message is aimed at the performer as much as the customer, which is the standard placement and one AsianCamModels improves on by warning the buyer directly. Still, stating it on entry rather than in a policy document means both parties in the room have read the same sentence.
Is AWLive Safe and Legit? Licensing and Legal Notes
The footer runs an Acceptable Use Policy, Terms of Use Agreement, Statements and Opinion, Complaints Policy, Appeals Policy, Anti-Slavery Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Use Policy, a cookie manager, DMCA Policy and a 2257 statement.
Two of those are rare. An Appeals Policy as a document separate from complaints implies a performer or a customer can contest a decision the platform has made about them, and that there is a defined route for doing it. That is a meaningful thing to publish, and in this reference it is close to unique.
An Anti-Slavery Policy is a UK statutory requirement for businesses over a certain turnover, so its presence identifies this as a British operation subject to British reporting obligations rather than an offshore entity. Read alongside the pound-default pricing, the UK-referencing handles on the roster and AWLive being the live arm of AdultWork, the picture is a domestic platform operating under domestic law. Anyone weighing AdultWork Cams should read the two together, since the accounts, the credits and the policy set are shared.
Becoming an AWLive Model: What Broadcasters Should Know
The published price list cuts both ways for a performer, and the cut is worth thinking about before signing up.
In favour: a customer arriving at your room already knows what it costs, has already bought the credits, and has read a rule against being asked to pay elsewhere. There is no negotiation, no explaining a token conversion, and no surprise at the end. The five-state system means people who want free chat, group and private sort themselves before entering. The seven-way gender filter and the deep preference and body-type filters mean a performer outside the default is findable rather than buried.
Against: a public per-minute rate is a public commitment, visible to every other performer on the grid, and fifty-five percent of the roster sitting at exactly the same floor number shows what that pressure produces. Anyone pricing above 2.00 is doing so in full view of five hundred people charging less. Undercutting is not possible in secret here, but neither is quietly holding a higher rate without justifying it.
What the public pages do not answer is the split. The site publishes what a customer pays per minute and what a credit costs to buy. It does not publish what fraction of that credit reaches the performer, the payout schedule, the threshold, or whether group, private and content sales are shared at the same rate. The bottom line
AWLive is the answer to a complaint made in most of the fifty-three reviews before it. Cam pricing is normally split across two pages that never meet: a rate in an invented unit on one, and the price of that unit behind a login on the other. Put both in the open and the whole category becomes comparable.
The floor rate here is 1.50 credits a minute, which is between £1.50 and £2.10 depending on how much you buy at once, and better than half the live grid sits at exactly that. Buy in larger blocks if you use it regularly, since the difference between the smallest and largest package is nearly a third. Check the group and private rates on entry, because the premium on a private session is set per room.
The transparency stops at the performer’s door, and that is the fair criticism. Everything a customer needs is published. Nothing a performer needs is.
