CamLust sells one thing: private one-to-one cam shows billed by the minute, in dollars, with the price printed on every tile before you click. No tokens, no goal bars, no public rooms full of strangers. In a category that spends enormous effort obscuring what things cost, that clarity is worth something.
Then you open the How It Works page, and two things fall out of it that shape the rest of this CamLust review. The heading is not the name of this site. And the mechanism it describes, in detail, across four numbered steps, runs on an app that Microsoft switched off in May 2025.
What CamLust is
It is a directory of independent models with a wallet attached. There is no free public room to sit in and no chat to lurk in. You browse profiles, you load funds, and you place a paid call. That is the whole product.
Pay per minute, in dollars
Every tile in the grid carries a per-minute price in dollars, and the profile repeats it in large type next to the call button. Prices in the roster captured here ran from $1.00 to $99.00 per minute, with the great majority sitting between $1.00 and $3.00. A handful of outliers sat at $12 and $99.
A dollar a minute is $60 an hour, which is at the low end of what independent performers charge for one-to-one work. Whether that reflects genuine competition, a small platform buying market share, or models pricing an entry rate they expect to negotiate up in chat, the public side does not say. But the number on the tile is the number you are billed, and that is more than most platforms offer.
The roster
Small. The front page shows about eighteen top models and eighteen new ones, and the full grid does not run much deeper. Tabs exist for women, men, couples and transgender models. Availability is shown with a green or grey dot on each tile, and profiles list a location down to the city.
The filter panel is where the site shows its seams. Sorting covers rating, random, last active, price high to low, price low to high and recently joined, all sensible. Then the language filter opens onto several hundred entries including Acholi, Chin Matu, Plautdietsch, Navajo and Marshallese. That is a general-purpose interpreter language list dropped into an adult site with a few dozen models on it, and it tells you the platform was assembled from parts rather than built for this roster.
What the marketing page claims
The home page carries a block of five selling points under a heading asking what CamLust is. It claims a unique price-per-minute technology, carefully selected verified models, high definition video and audio, anonymity and security, compatibility across desktop, laptop, tablet and phone on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, and a choice of payment methods.
Two details in that block are worth noticing. The verification paragraph is written in the singular throughout, promising that “our exceptional model” will deliver a personalised experience, which is a template that was filled in once and never edited for a site with a roster. And the claims themselves are the generic set, with nothing specific about how verification is actually performed, who performs it, or how often it is repeated. Compare that with the step-by-step verification write-ups some directories publish, and the difference is the difference between a policy and a paragraph.
The Skype problem
This is the finding that should decide whether you sign up.
What the site tells you to do
The member help page sets out four steps. Register, ideally using a Skype ID. Load funds. Browse profiles. Then, in the site’s own words, look for the Skype ID of the model, copy it, add it in your Skype or use the Skype chat button on the profile page.
Before the call it tells you to check your connection, make sure the Skype application is running, and log in to Skype. Elsewhere on the same page it explains that the platform works on any device that can run Skype, that members are protected through the use of the Skype platform, and that you can get a show anywhere by launching the mobile Skype app.
Why that no longer works
Microsoft retired consumer Skype on 5 May 2025, after twenty-two years, and moved users to Teams. There is no consumer Skype app to launch, no Skype ID to add, and no mobile Skype to open on the way home. The instructions describe a product that stopped existing roughly sixteen months before these pages were captured.
What it probably means
Two readings, and the honest answer is that we cannot tell which from outside.
The generous one is that CamLust moved calls into the browser and simply never rewrote the help page. The profile does carry its own call and chat buttons, and the phone icon suggests an in-page call rather than a handoff to another app. Stale documentation is common and forgivable.
The less generous one is that the platform genuinely has not been maintained. A site that has not noticed its entire call mechanism was discontinued sixteen months ago is not a site with anyone watching it closely, and that matters more than usual here, because you are being asked to put money on account with it before you can do anything at all.
Either way the practical advice is the same. Do not load funds until you have confirmed, in writing from customer support, exactly how a call is placed today and what happens to your balance if it does not connect.
The other name on the site
The help page does not carry the CamLust name at the top. It reads, in the site’s own pink brand type, “Why should you use PayPerMinute.app?” Further down the same page refers to your CamLust PayPerMinute app account and to the PayPerMinute LustApp.
So CamLust is a brand sitting on a platform called PayPerMinute, and the wrapper was applied everywhere except the page that explains how the thing works. That is not sinister on its own. White-label arrangements are the norm in this business, and a per-minute calling platform licensed to several front ends is a perfectly ordinary product.
It does change what you are evaluating. The models, the wallet, the billing and the call infrastructure belong to the platform, not to the brand. The footer names no operating company, links a legal page and a rules page but no terms or privacy policy by name, and carries a 2257 record-keeping compliance statement and an affiliate programme. If a payment goes wrong, the entity you would be chasing is not identified anywhere on the site.
What the profiles show, and what to check
Profile pages are unusually detailed, more so than on most token platforms:
- Age, sex, location including city, sexual orientation and languages spoken
- Eye colour, hair colour, build, chest size, height and weight in both metric and imperial
- A category label, a free-text keyword list and a short self-written introduction
- A star rating, a reviews section, a photo and video tab, and a feed tab
- The per-minute price, an online indicator, and call, message and chat buttons
Publishing a model’s city is a choice worth flagging. Most platforms stop at the country, and for good reason. Combined with an age, a physical description and a photo set, city-level location is more identifying than performers on a site like LiveJasmin or Stripchat would normally be asked to give up.
The reviews section is empty on the profile examined here, which said in plain text that no reviews existed yet, while star ratings appeared on tiles elsewhere in the grid. So the rating and the review count are not the same system, and a high score on a tile does not mean anyone has written anything.
The photo galleries deserve a careful look before you spend. On the one profile examined in detail, the images in the gallery are not obviously all of the same person. We cannot verify identity from outside and there may be an innocent explanation, but assembled or borrowed galleries are exactly the failure this kind of directory exists to prevent, and it is the one thing a verified badge is supposed to guarantee. Use the free chat first and ask for something specific and current before you put money on account.
Paying, and what it costs to get in
There is no free tier at all. You cannot watch anything without an account and funds, and even the full photo galleries are gated behind a free registration.
Funding methods listed across the site are broad:
- Visa, Mastercard and American Express, credit and debit
- iDEAL, SOFORT and Bancontact Mister Cash, which are European bank-transfer rails
- Paysafecard
- Bitcoin, Ethereum and other crypto
- Paxum
That list is revealing. iDEAL, SOFORT and Bancontact point squarely at the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, which matches the eight interface languages on offer. Paxum is unusual: it is normally a payout rail for adult performers rather than a way for customers to deposit, and seeing it on the funding side suggests the same wallet system handles both directions.
What the site does not publish anywhere on the public side is a minimum top-up, a maximum, a refund policy for unused balance, or what appears on your bank statement. Those questions are listed as headings on the help page with the answers collapsed behind them. Establish all four before funding, because on a per-minute wallet the unused balance is your exposure.
What to establish before you fund
Five questions, all of which a functioning support desk can answer in one reply:
- How does a call physically connect today, in the browser or through an app
- What is the minimum and the maximum you can load
- Is unused balance refundable, and after how long does it expire
- What descriptor appears on the card statement
- What happens if a call drops or a model does not answer after you have been billed
If the answers arrive quickly and in plain language, that is a good sign in itself. If they do not arrive, you have learned what you needed to know without spending anything.
How it compares
The direct comparison is SkyPrivate, which built the same per-minute, direct-to-performer model and is the established name in it. Against a token platform the differences are structural rather than cosmetic:
- Price transparency. A dollar figure on every tile beats a token rate you convert in your head. Chaturbate, Stripchat, CamSoda, Streamate and MyFreeCams all price in tokens or credits, and the dollar cost of a token is a separate lookup
- No free room. On Cam4 or Chaturbate you can watch for hours without spending. Here there is nothing to watch until you pay
- No crowd. Every show is one to one, so there is no tipping competition and no audience
- Smaller roster. A few dozen models against tens of thousands
- Thinner safety net. Large platforms have support desks, dispute processes and named corporate owners. This one has a contact form
If the per-minute model is what you want, and it is a perfectly reasonable thing to want, the question is which per-minute platform to trust with a balance. On current evidence that is not this one.
If you are thinking of modelling on it
The site runs an affiliate programme and a model signup, and the per-minute structure is genuinely attractive from the performer’s side: you set your own rate, every minute is billed, and there is no cut of a tip menu or a token conversion sitting between you and the customer.
The questions to ask before applying are the mirror image of the ones a customer should ask. What percentage of the per-minute rate reaches you, and is that figure in writing. Which entity issues the payout, and on what schedule. Which payment rails are available to you, since Paxum appearing on the funding side suggests it is also the payout rail. How a disputed or chargebacked call is handled, and whether the loss falls on you. And, given how much the profile template asks for, whether you can suppress the city, the weight and the measurements, because that combination is more identifying than most platforms ask performers to publish.
Get those answers before you submit an ID document to a site whose operating company is not named anywhere on it.
Verdict
CamLust gets the important idea right. Pricing in dollars per minute, printed openly, with no currency in between, is more honest than the token economy and it deserves to spread. The profiles are informative, the sorting is sensible, and a dollar a minute is genuinely cheap for one-to-one time.
What it does not have is upkeep or accountability. The page explaining how to use the service is built around an app that was discontinued in May 2025 and still tells you to launch it. The same page is branded for a different product. The footer names no company. The language filter is a stock list nobody curated. The photo gallery on the profile examined raises a question the site’s verified badge is meant to answer.
None of that proves anyone is being cheated, and the models on it are presumably real people doing real work who deserve customers. But you are asked to put money on account before you can do anything, on a platform that gives you very little reason to believe someone is looking after it. Ask support how a call actually connects now, ask what happens to an unused balance, and if either answer is vague, spend your money somewhere that can answer both.
