XloveCam is a European cam site with a French centre of gravity, operating since 2006, and it behaves differently from the American and Latin American networks in ways that show up immediately in the filters. This XloveCam review covers the roster, the credit economy, the room layout and a couple of things nobody else in this category does. It is adult throughout and restricted to over 18s.

What XloveCam is
A freemium webcam platform running on credits, with free public chat rooms and paid private shows on top. The structure is familiar. The audience is not.
The interface is dark red and dense. A permanent left rail carries counts against every option, with a search box at the top and a sorting control set to Cam Rank by default. Most of the useful features live in that rail rather than behind a menu.
What you get without paying
Plenty, as long as you are happy watching rather than directing. Free on the public side:

- Live previews in the grid, through the Show Cam Preview toggle
- Every filter and its live counts
- The media menu: pictures, videos, the timeline, the news feed and the blog

What you cannot see for free is the price itself, which is the awkward part and gets its own section below.
How many models are on XloveCam
710 models were live when I looked, which puts XloveCam in the mid tier: bigger than Amateur.tv, a fraction of Stripchat.
Categories, and how many models are in each
Every category publishes its population, and the shape is unusual:
- Young women: 369
- Ladies: 119
- Mature female: 85
- Fetish female: 53
- Transsexual: 51
- Couples: 20
- Male: 9
- Lesbians: 5
A dedicated fetish category at the top level, rather than buried in tags, is rare. So is splitting Ladies, Young women and Mature into three named bands. Most sites just give you an age slider.
Body, hair, bust and ethnicity, all counted
What sets the rail apart is not that it has filters, it is that every single one carries a live number. Beyond the categories above:

Nothing here is guesswork. You can tell before clicking that redheads are a genuinely small population on this site and that the Latin roster outnumbers the white one nearly two to one. Most platforms make you find that out by scrolling.
One caveat on all of it. The counts move between page loads, and across my captures the site total drifted from 710 to 703 with the individual categories shifting by a few either way. Treat every number here as a snapshot rather than a fixed figure.
What languages XloveCam models speak
This is where the site’s identity sits. Models list multiple languages, so the counts overlap. The ranking still tells you everything:
- English: 656
- French: 483
- Spanish: 374

Nearly seven in ten models speak French. If you want a francophone cam site, this is the obvious one, and no larger network comes close on that axis.
Ethnicity counts point the same way, with White at 193 and Latin at 368 against Asian at 30 and Arabian at 10. You will not find the Asian rosters here that some larger sites offer.
Filters and search
Sorting, cam previews and favourites
Three small things sit at the top of the sidebar and all three are useful. Sorting defaults to Cam Rank, the site’s own ranking rather than raw viewer numbers. A Show Cam Preview toggle turns the grid tiles into live previews instead of stills. And there are permanent Favourite Models and Recent Models Viewed lists, so the browsing history is a first class feature rather than something buried in an account menu.
There is also a phone app, promoted with a QR code and pitched on notifications when a favourite comes online rather than on browsing.
The price filter, and why it reads zero
XloveCam publishes a rates filter in credits per minute, banded as under 1, 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4, and over 4. It is a good idea, executed oddly, because every band read zero at the moment I looked despite 710 models being live.
Either the filter needs a category selected first, or it was simply not populating. Whichever it is, the one feature that would let you find performers by price is the one that did not work.
What performers accept: toys, gifts and live action
Two filters cover what a model will accept during a show, and they are close to universal on the roster:
- Virtual Gift: 625 of 710
- Live Action: 618 of 710
A Discover block above the categories carries four more, and the numbers in it are instructive:
- Interactive sex toy: 335, so nearly half the roster
- New models: 90
- Just Chatting (soft): 7
- VR live cams: 4
The last two are the interesting ones. VR is advertised as a feature and has four people in it, which is a rounding error rather than a category. Just Chatting is small too, but it exists at all, and a soft non-explicit tier is something most of this category does not offer in any form.
Cam2cam and HD both appear among the filter options, and grid tiles carry small icons for interactive toys, VR and an active private show.
Inside an XloveCam chat room
The room is clean and the chat runs as a conversation rather than a scrolling firehose. Messages appear as bubbles with the model on one side and the viewer on the other, which reads more like a messaging app than a public cam room.
The header and the control strip carry everything you need to judge a room before committing to anything:
- Above the player: the model’s name, a star rating with its vote count, plus her category, age and fan total
- Below the player: a Go in private show button, a gift icon, a live action icon, display size controls and fullscreen
- Either side of the video: arrows that move you to the next model without going back to the grid
Virtual gifts post into chat as named events, so a gift shows up by name rather than as a token amount.
The chat itself is worth describing, because it does not behave like a cam room. In the room I sat in, four or five regulars were holding an actual back and forth with the performer, in a mixture of French, Spanish and English, with her replying to people by name. There were no tip alerts firing, no goal bar counting down and no bot announcements. It read like a group chat that happens to have a camera in it.
That is partly a function of scale. A room with a few dozen people in it can sustain a conversation in a way a room with thirty thousand cannot. If the shouting match of a big token room is what puts you off cam sites, this is the opposite end of that spectrum.
XloveCam prices: what credits cost
The short answer: XloveCam does not publish what a credit costs. Here is everything that is knowable from the public side:
- Credit price on XloveCam: not published, and the Add Credits button in the header is account only
- Credit price on the sibling brand: a flat 1 euro per credit, published openly, on the same roster
- Typical private show: around 1.10 US dollars a minute, according to independent review sites
- Rate bands you can filter by: under 1, 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4 and over 4 credits a minute
- Payment methods: not named anywhere on the public side
That 1.10 is third party reporting rather than an operator statement, so treat it as a rough anchor and check the real number at checkout. It would make XloveCam one of the cheaper European options if accurate. The rate bands at least show the shape of the pricing even when the unit is hidden, which is a partial answer and better than none.
XloveCam and Sex.cam: one roster, two front doors
Worth knowing if a rival site has ever felt familiar: XloveCam also runs under a second brand. Sex.cam carries the same performers, the same credit denominations and the same filter taxonomy, and the payment page there names the same Dutch operator behind both.
There is one practical reason to know that, and it is a good one. The other brand publishes its credit prices openly without an account, at a flat one euro per credit, along with its payment methods and its billing descriptor. XloveCam does not. If you want to know what a credit costs before you sign up anywhere, the sibling site answers the question that this one leaves hanging.
Pictures, videos and the rest of the media menu
A Media menu sits in the header and opens onto five sections: pictures, videos, a timeline, a livecam news feed and the Xlove blog.
That is a lot of content surface for a cam site, and it means the platform stays useful when the rooms are quiet. Most competitors stop at a photo gallery. Stream quality is advertised through an HD filter rather than a quality badge on each tile.
The A to Z cam glossary nobody else publishes
XloveCam publishes an A to Z adult cam glossary, running from 0-9 through every letter, defining terms from the industry and from porn generally.
The structure is a proper A to Z, with a landing page listing sample terms under each letter and full definitions behind them, running from 18yo and 69 under the numerals through to queer under Q. The vocabulary spans cam-site mechanics such as camgirl, caming, fanclub and online chat alongside general adult terminology.
It is transparently there for search traffic. It is also, unlike most SEO filler, actually useful to somebody new to cam sites who does not know what a fan club or a live action is. I have not seen another platform in this category bother.
It fits a pattern with the rest of the site, which is worth noting because it is unusual: XloveCam explains itself. The counted filters tell you the shape of the roster, the glossary explains the vocabulary, the actions panel tells you what a performer will accept, and the responsibility notice tells you to be careful. The one thing it will not explain is the price.
Working on XloveCam as a model
The footer separates model signup, cam-girl and model studios, and a webmasters and affiliates programme branded XLoveCash. There is no published payout figure anywhere, so a model weighing this against a bigger platform has nothing to compare on.
Age verification runs through a service the site names directly, which is more specific than the usual assurance that everyone is over 18.
The three-way split in that footer is itself informative. Separating individual model signup from studio contact from the affiliate programme tells you the platform works with studios as well as independents, which fits a roster where 368 of 710 performers are Latin and studio representation in that region is common.
Is XloveCam safe? Support, 2257 and one line nobody else writes
Yes on the basics, and with one line no rival bothers with. The footer carries 24/7 chat support, a content reporting route, a named age verification service and a 2257 statement.
It also carries a sentence I have not seen on any other cam site reviewed here: using the platform may lead to addiction, set limits for yourself.
That is a gambling style responsibility notice on an adult platform, published voluntarily. It costs the operator nothing and it is still more than the entire rest of this category manages.
How XloveCam compares to LiveJasmin, Stripchat and CamSoda
Against LiveJasmin, the closest European comparison, XloveCam is smaller and plainer but publishes far more of its own numbers. LiveJasmin has the better price filter, and XloveCam’s does not populate.
Against Stripchat and Chaturbate the roster gap is enormous, but neither of those is a serious option if you want French speakers. Against CamSoda and MyFreeCams, both American-facing, the comparison barely applies.
Against Streamate and Cams.com, XloveCam is more transparent about roster composition and less transparent about money. That is a trade you can take either way.
Who XloveCam is for, and who should skip it
French and Italian speakers first. Nearly 500 francophone models on one platform is a genuine reason to choose it over anything larger, and the European skew runs through the ethnicity and language counts consistently.
It also suits anyone who wants a calmer room. The conversational chat layout and the Just Chatting category both point at a site that expects talking rather than shouting, and the girls listed there are offering exactly that.
And it suits anyone who reads a site by its numbers. Between the category counts, the body and hair breakdowns, the language ranking and the actions panel, you can build an accurate picture of who is actually on this platform without opening a single room. Very few sites let you do that.
Skip it if:
- you want scale, because Stripchat and Chaturbate are in another size class entirely
- you want a working price filter, because this one reads zero
- you want a published credit rate before you commit
If the credit price is the sticking point, the sibling brand publishes it and shares the roster, which makes that particular objection easy to route around.
