I spent a session on an Egirls Plus test account with 10,020 coins. I ran a memory test, generated an image and a video inside the chat, used the standalone generator, went through all 11 steps of the character creator, and tried the 3D VTuber mode. Yes, if you care about well-written roleplay and want image and video tools in the same place. Egirls had some of the best character writing I’ve tested this year, memory held up perfectly, and a 10-coin image looked great in about 25 seconds. Egirls AI (egirls.ai) is an adult AI companion platform where you chat with roleplay characters, generate images and videos of them, make voice calls, and talk to 3D VTuber avatars. Users can also create and publish their own characters.
The sidebar is short: Explore, Messages, Generate, Create, Coins, EGIRLS+, Affiliate and Me. Explore shows a grid of characters with a one-line hook and a chat count (the most popular had over 158,000 chats). You can filter by gender and by realistic or anime style, search, or tap one of about 35 tag chips, which range from Wholesome, Romantic and Slow Burn to a long list of fetish tags.

What do Egirls coins pay for?
An image costs 10 coins and a video costs 100. Voice call time is bought in blocks, from 250 coins for an hour.

What characters does Egirls have?
Egirls has a large library of user-made characters, mostly realistic women, with anime and male characters available through the filters. Tapping a card opens a preview with photos, likes, a short scenario, tags, and two buttons: Chat and Generate.
The hooks on the Explore page are almost all explicit, so the front page isn’t one to browse in public. The characters themselves are more varied once you start talking to them.
How good is the Egirls chat and memory?
Excellent. Priya passed my memory test perfectly, and the writing was among the best I’ve seen on an adult platform.
Priya’s opening message set a scene with real texture: a laptop turned toward me, a mug going cold, and a houseplant named Gerald “sitting between you like a chaperone.” I changed the subject and told her I bake sourdough for a small cafe in Ghent, and that my starter is called Bubbles and is eleven years old. She called that “older than most relationships I’ve witnessed,” and later made a dry joke about Gerald being only three.
Two messages later I asked for the city, the starter’s name and its age. Her reply: “Ghent. Bubbles. Eleven years old.” She also pointed out that I’d said “she” about the starter. That’s the kind of detail a good roleplay partner catches.

How to request an image in Egirls chat
- Tap Image above the message box.
- Switch Spicy off if you want safe-for-work presets. It’s on by default and shows explicit ones.
- Pick a preset (Random, Selfie, Posing, Sitting, Kneeling, Squatting) or type a description.
- Send it and wait about 25 seconds.
I asked for Priya at the kitchen table in a cozy sweater, laptop open, holding a mug, with a potted plant beside her in soft morning light. The image hit every detail and cost 10 coins.
Each image has a Make video button. I used it with a simple prompt (she sips from the mug and smiles), and Spicy was switched back on by default again. The chat posted an empty “Video” reply with no clip. On the plus side, I wasn’t charged for it.
How does the Egirls generator work?
The Generate page makes images (10 coins) and videos (100 coins) from a character plus optional pose, outfit and scene, or animates an image you’ve already made. Your results live under My Gens.
One warning: the default Explore tab on this page is a public feed of other users’ generations, and it’s fully explicit. Switch to My Gens if you’re anywhere near other people.
How to animate an image into a video
- Open Generate and switch to Video.
- Choose From Image and tap Add image to pick one of your generations.
- Open Advanced and describe the motion.
- Press Generate (100 coins). Only one video can run at a time.
My video climbed quickly to 96% and then sat there. After a few minutes I reloaded the page, and the finished clip was waiting in My Gens: Priya lifting the mug and taking a sip, as described. Total time was about two and a half minutes, and my balance dropped by exactly 100 coins.
How do you create a character on Egirls?
The creator walks through 11 steps and generates a preview image before you finish. It’s detailed, quick, and the preview reacted to my written persona, which I didn’t expect.

The chat style step is the most useful one. Each mode shows a sample exchange, so you can see the difference between a narrated roleplay reply and a casual text before you choose.
I built Mei Tanaka, an anime-style architect from Osaka who I know from the climbing gym. She’s witty, competitive and loves midnight ramen.
The preview put Mei in front of a climbing wall, picking up the setting from my persona text. That’s a nice touch most builders miss.
I stopped at the review step. Egirls describes characters as things you “create and publish,” and I didn’t see a private option before the final button, so check that before you confirm if you want your character to stay private.
What are Egirls 3D VTubers and voice calls?
VTubers are four 3D characters (Delta, Finn, Xavier and Lucy) you talk to face to face, by typing or by voice. They sit in an Avatars row at the top of Explore. Lucy’s page offered Text to Talk or Voice Chat and connected, but in my browser the avatar never appeared and my message got no reply. I’d treat VTubers as a feature to try for yourself rather than a reason to subscribe.
Regular characters also have a Call button for voice calls. Plus includes some call time (my account showed 10 minutes), and more is bought with coins.
Is Egirls safe to use?
Egirls is clearly an adults-only site, and its main risk is how explicit it is by default rather than any privacy problem I could see. Coins never expire, purchases are final, and the subscription can be managed from your account.
Be aware of three things. The Explore hooks and the Generate feed are explicit. The Spicy toggle switches itself back on for each new image or video request. And some tags and relationship options lean into step-family and cheating themes, which you can avoid with filters but can’t hide entirely.
