Is OnWebcam Legit? It Is a Streamate Skin
Every single tile on OnWebcam’s front page carries five filled stars. That includes accounts on the new models page that have evidently only just arrived and cannot have been rated by anybody. Readers of this series will recognise that immediately, because it is the fingerprint of one particular network.
The rooms are real, but OnWebcam is not an independent platform. It is a branded front end over the Streamate network, and four separate things in the interface say so.
The filter set is identical. Six dropdowns reading regions, age, features, ethnicity, fetishes and language, in that exact order. That is the Streamate filter row, unchanged.
The fetish taxonomy matches item for item. Twenty-two entries, same list, same wording, same order:

Are OnWebcam’s Star Ratings Reliable?
No. A rating that is almost always five stars carries no information. On a skin, this is the thing that most affects a buyer.
Across the main grid, every visible performer showed five stars. Switching to the new models view, which by definition lists recent arrivals, the great majority still showed five, with only a couple showing four and a half.

That is a proper disclosure. The spread from 1,188 down to 17 tells you which categories are real and which are nearly empty.
The caveat: these are roster counts, not live counts, and no live figure is published anywhere. There is no total, no online count and no per-category live number, so you cannot tell how many of those 1,188 brunettes are actually broadcasting.
How Much Does OnWebcam Cost?
OnWebcam does not publish its prices. You can browse and watch free chat without an account, but what a private show costs is not stated anywhere on the public pages:

Verdict: Is OnWebcam Worth It?
Not really, unless you prefer its layout. OnWebcam is a competent shop window over somebody else’s roster. The category counts are genuinely useful, the filter set is deep because it was inherited from a network that built it properly, and flagging mobile broadcasts is a nice touch.
What it adds on its own is close to nothing, and what it withholds matters. It does not tell you whose models these are, what they cost, how many are live, or who to contact if something goes wrong. And the five-star rating on every tile, new arrivals included, is worse than having no rating at all, because it looks like information and is not.
If you want this roster, the underlying network publishes more about itself than its skins do. There is no reason to browse it through a layer that publishes less.
