Infatuated AI wants to be your uncensored AI girlfriend, and on the technical side it has the goods: photoreal characters, voice messages, video, phone-style calls, and an image generator with no filter on it. But I have to lead with the thing that defined my whole session, because you will run into it in your first two minutes. This is one of the most aggressively monetized companion apps I have tested. The free experience is less a trial and more a trailer, and understanding that up front will save you a lot of frustration.
What Infatuated AI is
Strip away the paywall for a second and the product underneath is a photoreal AI companion site. The character library is deep, sitting around 235 characters split into Girls, Guys, Anime, and Trans lanes, with the bulk on the Girls side. You can filter by the usual tags, from age ranges to body types to hair color, and the art style is the glossy, hyper-real look rather than the illustrated anime style you get on a site like a straight-up waifu app.
The whole thing runs in the browser, and it is built around multimedia from the ground up. Characters do not just type at you. They send voice messages, they send images and video, and they can take a voice call. On paper that is a richer experience than the text-only companions, and it is the same multimedia direction that specialists like Joi AI have been chasing. The question is how much of it you actually get to touch without paying, and the answer is: not much.
The layout is clean and easy to learn. A slim left rail holds Explore, Chat, Discover, Gallery, Create, and My AI, so the whole app is a click or two deep at any point. Nothing about the navigation fights you. The polish is real, which makes the pushiness of the free tier feel like a choice rather than a limitation of a scrappy team. Someone put thought into this interface.
The characters have real depth
Credit where it is due, the character profiles are more detailed than most. Open one and you get a written bio with an actual point of view, plus expandable sections for style and gender, personality attributes, and physical attributes. The one I spent time with, a lifeguard type named Liana, had a coherent, moody ocean-obsessed personality that carried through her bio and her opening lines. There is also a private gallery attached to each character and a voice-replies toggle so she answers with audio instead of text.
The writing itself is good. The opening voice message I got was evocative and stayed in character, and the persona did not feel like a generic chatbot wearing a costume. If Infatuated let that writing breathe, it would be a strong chat app. It mostly does not, which brings me to the problem.
Chatting, and the paywall you cannot avoid
Here is exactly what happened when I sat down to chat, because it tells you everything.
I started with a free balance of 8 tokens. I sent a tame, specific message about growing up in the mountains and asked what she would show me at her beach. The reply did not come back as conversation. It came back as an image, blurred out, with an “Upgrade to view” panel and a Get PRO button slapped over it. My token count had also dropped. I tried again, explicitly asking her to skip the pictures and just tell me a story about the water. She sent another locked image. By my third message the balance was down to 2 tokens from the starting 8.
So the free tier gives you roughly three exchanges, and the model is tuned to answer with paywalled media rather than the conversation you asked for. Even when you tell it in plain words to just talk, it keeps dangling locked content. That is a deliberate funnel, and it is a lot more aggressive than the soft nudges you get on most companion sites. Plenty of apps meter their features, and I have flagged token drains before on places like a token-heavy tavern, but Infatuated is the first one where the AI actively steered the conversation toward the paywall instead of answering me.
The token math makes it worse. Each message I sent cost around three tokens, and the media replies clearly cost more, so the starting balance of 8 is not a trial so much as a taste. Compare that to sites that give you dozens of free messages to get hooked, and Infatuated’s approach feels almost impatient. It knows the writing and the visuals are good enough to sell, so it stops giving them away almost immediately.
None of this means the underlying chat is bad. From what I could see, the writing quality is there. It means the free tier is not built to let you evaluate it. You are meant to hit the wall fast and pull out your card.
Voice, video, and calls
The multimedia stack is genuinely the most interesting part of Infatuated, and it is the reason someone might actually pay. Characters send voice messages in a consistent voice, there is a call button for a live phone-style conversation, and images and video show up throughout the chat. The voice-replies toggle in the sidebar lets you decide whether she talks or types.
This is the same feature race that separates the newer companion apps from the old text-only guard. Voice and video are hard to do well, and having a call feature at all puts Infatuated in a small group alongside the video-forward players. I could not stress-test these deeply on a free account, for the obvious reason that everything costs tokens and my tokens evaporated, but the pieces are all present and clearly the core of the pitch. If real-time voice and video are what you want, this is one of the sites building toward it, in the same lane as SpicyGen on the video side.
Discover and the community feed
Infatuated has a Discover tab, marked as new, that is basically a vertical swipe feed of user-shared generations, styled like a certain short-video app. You scroll up and down through content other people have made and shared, with like and report buttons and quick shortcuts to chat with or open the gallery of whoever is featured. It is explicit, so I will just describe it rather than show it, but as a discovery mechanic it is smart. It turns browsing into the same endless-scroll loop people already have muscle memory for, and it doubles as a showcase of what the generator can do.
Making your own character
If the roster does not do it for you, Infatuated leans hard into custom creation, and it does not hide what it is. The create flow is labeled an uncensored NSFW generator, and it splits into building a character or generating standalone images.
The character builder is a step wizard. You start by setting gender and orientation, then pick a style, and the style options are Suggestive, Explicit, or Anime, which tells you exactly how uncensored this is. From there it walks through appearance, body, and personality across a few steps. This is the real differentiator from the safe-for-work influencer tools: where those cap out at swimwear, Infatuated is built for explicit output from the first screen. If uncensored generation with a photoreal look is the goal, it is in the same category as Nectar AI and DreamGF, just wrapped in a pushier free tier.

The paywall is the whole story, so the pricing matters more here than usual.
The free plan gives you 8 tokens and some teaser images, and that is it. PRO is where the product actually opens up: unlimited chat with the models, image generation, and a refill of 250 tokens a month, plus anonymity and discreet billing. The plans are 11.99 dollars for a single month, 13.33 a month on the three-month plan, and 14.87 a month on the annual plan, which bills as 178.50 up front with a 15 percent discount tag on it. Oddly, the per-month price on the longer commitments is higher than the single month, so read the terms carefully rather than assuming the annual plan is the cheapest by the month.
The thing to understand is that PRO still runs on tokens for the heavier stuff. You get 250 a month, and given how fast my free 8 disappeared, a heavy user generating images and video could still find themselves rationing. The subscription unlocks the experience, but the metering does not fully go away. Budget with that in mind.
Safety, discretion, and the fine print
On the responsible side, Infatuated is more buttoned-up than the pushy funnel might suggest. The footer is stocked with the policies you want to see, including an underage policy, a 2257 exemption statement, blocked-content and community guidelines, and a clear line that every character, image, and conversation is AI-generated, fictional, and strictly 18-plus. The company is listed as Infatuated, Inc.
They also make a point of discretion. PRO advertises full anonymity and, notably, that the charge will not show up as an adult transaction on your bank statement. For a lot of people that discreet-billing detail matters, and it is good that they state it plainly. As always with adult sites, use a payment method you are comfortable with and check the settings.
How Infatuated AI compares
Feature for feature, Infatuated is legitimately strong. The photoreal characters, the voice and video, the call feature, and the uncensored generator stack up against the better paid companions, and the multimedia depth is above average. If you line it up against photoreal rivals like DreamGF or Kupid AI, it holds its own on capability.
Where it separates from the pack, and not in a good way, is the free experience. Most companion sites let you have a real conversation before they start selling. Infatuated turns the sell into the conversation. That will not bother someone who has already decided to pay, but it makes the app almost impossible to evaluate for free, and it leaves a pushy first impression that better-run competitors avoid.
It is worth being fair about why the model looks this way. Photoreal image and video generation is expensive to run, and voice and calls cost even more, so a site leaning this hard on multimedia has real costs to cover with every reply. That explains the metering. It does not fully explain steering the chat toward locked content when a user asks for plain conversation, which reads more like a growth tactic than a cost decision. The two things together are what make the free tier feel less like a demo and more like a checkout line.
Who Infatuated AI is for
If you already know you want a photoreal, uncensored companion with voice, video, and calls, and you are ready to pay for PRO on day one, Infatuated is a capable pick. The characters are well written, the multimedia features are real, and the creation tools are genuinely uncensored. On those terms it delivers.
If you are the kind of person who wants to try before you buy, brace yourself. The free tier is a locked door with a very nice photo taped to it. You will burn your 8 tokens in a few messages, mostly on images you cannot open, and you will not come away with a real sense of the chat. Go in knowing that the trial is really a sales pitch, decide whether the paid feature set is worth it based on the multimedia rather than the free chat, and you will not be caught off guard.
